Lumair Privacy Policy

Data Collection

The developer does not collect data from Lumair. The app contains no developer-operated analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting, or account service, and it does not send usage or media information to the developer.

Information Stored on Your Device

To provide its features, Lumair can store locally:

• App preferences and playback positions.
• The amount of the free playback preview already used.
• A Jellyfin server address, username, user identifier, and app-generated device identifier.
• Jellyfin access credentials or tokens stored in the system Keychain.
• Library metadata, selected offline media, temporary segments, artwork, and caches.

This information is not transmitted to the developer.

Connections to Your Jellyfin Server

Lumair communicates directly with the server address you enter. Authentication, library browsing, artwork, playback, progress reporting, and downloads are exchanged between your device and that server. Its operator may process information under its own policies.

The app also uses a loopback connection on your device to feed converted media to the visionOS system player. This connection remains local to the device.

Purchases

Apple handles App Store purchases and payment information. Apple's StoreKit service provides the app with product, transaction, and entitlement information needed to unlock or restore Full Playback. The developer does not receive payment-card details, though Apple may provide aggregated sales and financial reports.

Retention and Deletion

Local preferences and playback information remain until changed in the app where an applicable control is offered or until the app is deleted. Free-preview usage remains until the app is deleted. Signing out removes the saved Jellyfin credential. The app asks before deleting associated offline downloads. For information retained by a Jellyfin server, contact that server's administrator.

Children

Lumair does not knowingly collect personal data from children or any other users.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the app's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
