What's in Lumair 1.3.2 on Apple Vision Pro

If you clicked through after reading about Lumair 1.3.0 or 1.3.1, Lumair 1.3.2 is the version on the App Store today. I built it for the library I actually keep: H.264 MVC MKVs, decrypted Blu-ray ISOs, SBS and over-under files, and the NAS share those files live on.

Lumair includes no movies or shows. You supply the media you own or are authorized to play. It is not affiliated with Jellyfin.

What's new in 1.3.2

Lumair 1.3.2 shipped on the App Store on September 13, 2026. It is a focused playback-compatibility release on top of the feature set below.

• Compatible side-by-side and over-under 3D files in 10-bit HDR now play in HDR, including 4K at 60 fps.
• Compatible FLAC audio tracks now play.
• Dolby Vision Profile 5 remuxes without in-container parameter sets now play.
• Fixed corrupted picture on some 3D Blu-ray MKV encodes.
• Fixed freezes when seeking or scrubbing in 3D Blu-ray MKVs.
• Subtitles authored for side-by-side 3D no longer appear twice.

The source options, five-minute-per-video preview, and one-time Full Playback purchase are unchanged.

What 1.3.2 actually plays

These are shipped capabilities in the current App Store build, not a wishlist.

• Compatible H.264 MVC video in MKV, converted on device to stereo MV-HEVC for the visionOS system player.
• Compatible HEVC MKV REMUX playback that preserves the HDR10 or Dolby Vision base video, including Profile 5 remuxes without in-container parameter sets, with automatic HDR10 fallback when Dolby Vision cannot be prepared safely.
• Compatible native MV-HEVC spatial video.
• Compatible side-by-side and over-under video, including MKV, MP4, and MOV. Lumair 1.3.2 adds HDR playback for compatible 10-bit sources, including 4K at 60 fps.
• Compatible decrypted 2D and 3D Blu-ray ISO disc images.
• Compatible MK3D files.
• Compatible FLAC audio tracks.
• Local files through the system Files picker.
• Direct SMB browse, stream, and download on your local network.
• Jellyfin browse, stream, progress sync, and offline downloads.
• Compatible embedded SRT tracks, plus nearby sidecar SRT files for SMB video that uses Lumair's processing path.
• Automatic letterbox crop for stable top and bottom bars. It is on by default. Turn it off in Settings if you want the encoded frame.

Playback uses the native visionOS system player. Lumair requires visionOS 26.5 or later.

How the free preview works

Download is free. The trial is a few minutes of actual playback for every title: five minutes per video, not a shared pool across the app.

Browsing, pausing, seeking, and buffering do not use preview time. Each local, SMB, and Jellyfin item carries its own allowance.

Full Playback is $14.99 once. There is no subscription. The purchase unlocks playback. It does not include a movie catalog.

Play a decrypted Blu-ray ISO

A physical disc will not play. The headset has no drive, and Lumair does not rip discs, open BDMV folders, or bypass DRM. A compatible decrypted `.iso` is a different thing: Lumair can open that disc image from Files or an SMB share.

1. Confirm the image is decrypted and that you have the rights to play it.
2. Open it in Lumair from Files or SMB.
3. Use the five-minute preview to check stereo depth, audio, and any compatible embedded PGS subtitles before you unlock.

Browse, stream, or download from SMB

Jellyfin is optional. If the library already lives on a NAS share, open SMB in Lumair, pick a discovered server or enter its address, sign in, and choose a share. You can browse, stream, or download compatible video from there.

Nearby sidecar SRT files work for compatible SMB video on Lumair's processing path. Name the sidecar after the video, such as `Movie.en.srt` next to `Movie.mkv`. Files picked through the system Files picker do not grant access to sibling sidecar files.

What 1.3.2 does not include

These limits are unchanged in 1.3.2. I am not selling these, because they are not in the build:

• Cinema or IMAX environments
• Manual crop controls
• Pillarbox or 4:3-in-16:9 crop
• Sidecar SRT for local Files items that are not opened through SMB
• Lossless native MVC playback. Compatible H.264 MVC is converted on device to stereo MV-HEVC.

Those limits matter when you compare Lumair with Infuse or 4XVR. Use the first-party comparison for listed features only.
